Drywall Shims
Drywall shims are used in the building industry to assist in lining
up sheets of drywall for taping and finishing. If the framing of the
structure is not aligned a 1 ½ inch strip of thick chipboard is
placed along the 2 x 4 to assist in the alignment. The drywall
installer then cuts the strip to the right thickness or length.
KOR manufacturers drywall shims from .080 chipboard or .100 solid
