KOR offers poly sheeting – poly wrap
KOR offers poly sheeting – poly wrap
with extremely high tensile strength in both directions in relation
to its light weight. It is resistant to tearing and to weather
extremes, including ultraviolet sunlight exposure; moisture-proof;
and impervious to rot, mildew and most chemicals.
Made from oriented high density polyethylene, the woven fabrics are
pliable yet more tear resistant and puncture-proof than films and
fabrics of equal weight, and they are stronger, lighter and easier
to handle than other materials used in similar applications.
KOR offers two kinds of reject - seconds poly wrap – poly sheeting.
This
material has been rejected by the manufacturer because the
printing on the poly is substandard.
1) .005 mil poly rolls or poly sheets that is either black on one
side or clear. As indicated one side has printing on it. This
material is considered preconsumer waste.
2) .010 mil poly rolls or poly sheets with kraft paper laminated on
one side. The poly side has printing on it and is also considered
preconsumer waste. The kraft laminate helps with sweating and
absorbs moisture while keeping outside moisture away.
Because the poly sheeting – poly wrap has been rejected by the
manufacturer it is less expensive than any comparable product on the
market. It would suit an application where printing on the poly
would not be a factor. The need for moisture protection at a
competitive price would be the prime factor in considering its
usage.
Both materials are ideal for industrial packaging items such as
pallet liners or pallet sheets, top sheets, cover sheets and tier
sheets. Other common applications are: using it as a drop cloth for
industrial painting, wrapping items that are to be stored outdoors,
or as a weed barrier in landscaping. |
